What we will never do

Every review site that lost its users lost them the same way. Here is the list, in public, so you can hold it against us.

Sell removals, or a faster queue

No employer can pay to have a review taken down, hidden, delayed, or moved through moderation faster. There is one queue and one standard.

Sell the score

No consulting, no score improvement service, no paid audit that happens to raise a number. The danger score is computed from reviews and nothing else, and the formula is published.

Sell placement

No ranking money, no promoted employers in a list of employers, no sponsored results in search. If a company appears above another, it is because of the sort you chose.

Run a Best Places To Work award

Awards are the corruption vector. They create a ranking window, and a ranking window creates a rush of suspiciously positive reviews. We will not run one, and we will not accept sponsorship of anyone else's.

Charge employers to reply

Claiming a company page, correcting the facts on it, and replying publicly to any review are free, permanently. An employer's right of reply is not a product.

Sell who you are

No individual-level records, no CV database, no applicant identities, no lists of who applied where. Not to recruiters, not to data brokers, not to anyone.

Target ads by what you wrote

Your review of an employer will never be used to decide which advert you see, here or anywhere else.

Fabricate anything

No invented reviews, no imported reviews from other sites, no bots writing filler to make the place look busy. The company directory is seeded from public facts about employers, and every imported company page says so.

Hide the score behind a wall

A worker checking whether an employer is dangerous will never be asked to contribute first. Aggregates stay free to everyone, signed in or not.

Be bought by the industry we cover

Not by an applicant tracking system, not by a recruiter, not by an HR software company, not by a job board that sells to employers. Glassdoor now sits inside Indeed. That is the failure this exists because of.

What we do take money for

Job postings, which must state a salary range like every other listing here. That is the whole list today. Anything added later will appear on this page first, and anything on the list above will not be added at all.

If you think we have broken one of these, say so publicly and report it. A refusal nobody can check is just marketing.
